There are new quests, yes, but perhaps you shouldn't spoil them ;) The old ones are the same as far as I can see. You can make MM6-7 Sorcerers into Liches, but Light Magic is only available to Archmages (so that's still impossible).In the first version of the mod, you were able to promote an MM8 Cle...

Quests are the same AFAIK. Isthric is in his usual place, I found him just fine on the second island with the Merchant, Body Magic and Plate teachers. I haven't tried with this newest patch though. Check again? You can do all the promotion quests. The first one(s) will promote you while the rest are...

Jadame's Clerics and Necromancers have always been able to get Master magic at start. That promotion stage reflects it.

The powerless potions are not a problem introduced by this mod, they appeared like that in MM8 too. But now that you mentioned it, I got a phantom black potion to the inventory from Thistle too. It disappeared after picking up the other one!

With Bartholomew Hume, the dialogue for completing Master promotion overwrites the dialogue option for Initiate, so you can't promote anyone to initiate if you complete the Master quest. Emerald Island isn't required for the ArcoMage championship, so you'll be fine! You can't go back but you don't need to anyway :-)

Thanks for the quick fix! There's another error now: I can't enter Clanker's Lab. The game says it cannot find 71d12.blv, crashes and goes to windowed mode the next time the game is started.

An issue has emerged: when performing an unarmed attack or skipping a turn while unarmed, the debug console appears.

Verdant's quest for the Metal Rod disappears from the log when I quit the game and reload the save. I brought the rod to her but she doesn't have the dialogue option for it anymore. :|

As far as I know, bonuses such as "of Dark Magic" were never meant to stack beyond just one, which gives you a 50% bonus to the skill, for example if your Dark Magic is at 10, it gives you another 5. If they stack in this merge, it's OP in my opinion. It's enough for you to get the skill ...

I really like those new weapon suggestions! Should make the game much more immersive. I just noticed two inconsistencies with the prices of Composite Bow and Elven Warbow - they should probably be 550 and 600, no? Anyway, excellent work, I'd love to see these implemented soon!

I like this diversifying of weapons! It would make each of them unique. Great suggestion, Xfing! However, I'd just like to say that the bonus to a weapon's attack is always the same as the bonus to damage with these three games, so that formula should probably be kept in mind if any changes are made...

Currently there is only one way to get Light and Dark spells in the same party, and that is starting out in Jadame and getting the Lich and Priest of the Sun promotions. I'd like to propose that skills are altered a bit so that starting out Clerics and Sorcerers can get Expert Light and Dark. Then ...

About attack recovery, melee attacks are indeed meant to never go below 30, but the lower limit for bow attacks has always been (interestingly) 5.
