Heroes III Sound Fix

Some people have been having sound problems with Ubisoft's release of Heroes III Complete Edition. Thanks to the work of Narzoul these issues have apparently been fixed. If you're one of the people who have been experiencing distortion/noise in Ubisoft's Heroes III Complete you can try out the fix <...

Sorry it took so long to reply. I've been very busy with midterms lately, and finals are coming up soon. The errors that you've been getting are caused by the server being overloaded. There were too many people trying to access the site and forums, and as a result all of the connections were used up...

Great discussion everyone, particularly I wished to respond to the following excerpt from Brendon's post by elaborating on what Corribus has said: It's wrong because the theory cannot be infinitely extended to all situations conceivable, and also because it assumes concepts like absolute time, which...

We will definitely upgrade to phpBB3 in the future, but not right away. To answer arturchix's question here's a page that lists some of the new features of phpBB3 http://area51.phpbb.com/docs/features.html . One of the biggest changes from my point of view is that the board is now completely object ...

I've traced the problem to a missing library on the server. In order to resolve the error I will need to recompile PHP with the missing library, but prior to doing that I want to make sure that I can keep the site online during the recompilation. If I can't keep the site online during the recompilat...

We'll do everything in our power to keep the server running smoothly, but ultimately if the host decides to put a large number of sites on the server there's not much that we can do about it except take action in accordance with the terms of services.

Server Test on Monday

The test site will stay online for a while, but we want as many people to be online at once as possible posting and browsing the site (Which is why we have a scheduled time). However, if people are willing we can have more than one stress test to ensure that the server can really handle the load, bu...

It appears quite buggy; I keep ending back at the 'sorry, the forum is temporarily closed' page. So far I've reached that by attempting to log in and by clicking the 'get first unread post' button; not sure if there're other ways. Try erasing all of your cookies and temp pages. If that doesn't help...
