Well, after a fresh new installation, you don't know or you know but didn't set NoIntro=1, and the movie is played without Esc key functional. I wrote these files to make MM8 w/ GrayFace Patch support double-byte character set. My DBCS script works well for MM8 (and MMMerge), but not very well for MM7 and 6. 0x449C3B is the point AFTER which every text character is processed in MM8. I'm wondering if MMExtension could support IupLua. For now I'm able to use Iup with FFI binding and Iup.dll for C. But it would be amazing if we can simply put iuplua51.dll and other dll in iup-3.28-Lua51_Win32_bin.zip here into ExeMods folder, and then require iuplua and other library in lua script...

It's not a Lua thing. It's a function written by GrayFace. And if you inspect the source, GrayFace's mem.copy actually invokes a C library function, memcpy. I'm unfamiliar with Lua just like you, and have limited knowledge of C/C++. Not sure what wuxiangjinxing wants but I saw he is working on some ...
