Hm I don't think it ever resisted my GG's stun, more likely your shrines are not high enough.

Yes. Or that.

Though the ponydog was quite easily silenced :)

Well I don't have Druid, neither Space Papa and was forced to substitute, used Swan and Hunchback, Draconic Templar and Pegaus and Tree. That worked slowly but conveniently.

Silence worked for me often, albeit not always but the best was to silence him, when he was fully buffed. That was very handy - low chance but handy.

I tried few more combinations but without Swan it was too random.

Then it's definitely your shrines, as it has very high luck, more than most other toons. Brutal difficulty is by design that you need some kingdom buffs.

Dark Nymph should work great, stealing the buffs and buffing full party like a Valkyrie on death. Her with Defender tome and Hunch with Assassin's. Her heal also is quite good at x4.

With Anubis biggest problem was party cleanse, so Dark Nymph wasn't enough. That was one of my tries. As you noticed I have two cleansers in my party, Pegasus can remove just one, Swan all. Both cleansers were necessary to ensure smooth operation.

I got Anubis, finally. Statue, Hippogriff, Ettin, Treant and Cerberus. Cerberus was mainly to damage ignoring defense and sometimes applying dots, but it was one of the least useful. I think if I got my Centaur instead of it, it would be more useful.

When I get my Dracolich with the next Awakened ability, it'll resist 100% of any debuff, then it'll be rather ok to bring in those fights with buffing and debuffing enemies.

Got Stego after 9 or 10 attempts. Sometimes, I was downright unlucky that I would be killed on the third round. When I got him, only Cerberus and Pegasus were alive, so it was a matter of time getting killed, but managed to get the beast first.

And when Stego appeared at the Kingdom again, I couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed. I was hoping that after a 2-time cycle, all those invading beings would not appear again. Instead, they are cycling again. A bit boring after you get them the first time, except when you get good rewards, that is. But I really think we ought to get a constant Greater Essence at that last fight, because the last Hard-level Stego I defeated gave me 2 colored Epic Essences, which could be almost the same reward you get from Brutal-level, if you are not that lucky to get colored Legendary Essences.

This pony-dog is tough. I'll see what I can do in this week. The others I managed, but ... this one is annoying.

Uh, and when I tried next, got it! The sort of funny thing is that my Hunch and my Owl died pretty soon, but I channeled the Chaos Nymph, as you guys told the other day, and then the Nymph, Statue and Beetle were enough to take the pony-dog down, with healing, stunning and debuffing. Quite nice. :D

Got 2 colored Legendary and 1 epic.

I just noticed that the combination of Pegasus and Oathkeeper against Stego is sufficient. Although it takes a loong time.

The abomination is giving me only Epic essences. The thing is already annoying as hell. And when you do beat it, it won't give Legendary Essences. :disagree:

Heh, I have my anti-abomination team. Oathkeeper, Beetle, Vampire, Unicorn, Dark Nymph but alas to make things work fast and for the first time, I also boosted my B&W shrines to get almost instawin. The boost is 58D and it's useful in DC too, so I consider it to be a good investment.
(It saves my precious time.)

Edit1
Don't worry, that already happened to me. Got 3x Epic instead. But to be perfectly honest I had got also 3xLeg Essences once. So, it's so so. :)
