Does anyone know if end-of-combat is hard-coded? It seems that there is a delay after all enemies are cleared, suggesting that the game checks for enemies to determine when combat has ended.
I was wondering if it were possible to add a few post-combat turns so that Resurrection and Raise Dead from hero or Archangels could be applied before properly quitting combat. As it is, you will occasionally end up doing silly things like Waiting your hero or troops so that you will get the "final word" after the last tiny enemy stack acts to revive your troops then blast them to kingdom come.
(IMO, there should be a way to do that outside of combat, but that would mean tracking troop counts and changes to the counts during a turn).
