alley. (not enough room in the title, sorry)

They already have the amount needed, now all we have to do is make sure they use all the extra money to get more/better programmers, it is Obsidian after all.

And that they will actually have time to finish it...

Also, this should be of interest to roughly the same people.

Pretty sure i posted about that a while back...

Well by using Kickstarter they won't have any publisher/rights owner breathing down their neck to get it done faster (screw u LucasArts, KotOR2 would have been the best SW game if you had any patience) that shouldn't be a problem.

Bugs can be fixed (NWN2 plays just fine after patch something), but making a game that isn't cookie-cutter ain't something a lot of studios can do...

The more complex game is the more bugs it will have. I will rather tolerate few bugs until patches than half games we are fed thees days.
Sure Fallout Vegas had it's share of bugs but it was simply different league than F3 even if it didn't had as much obvious scripting problems.
If they can deliver something on par with games listed there I am all for it.

Ah. Maybe it was here I heard about it then. Hard to remember since I'm trying to keep some tabs on Bioware as well.

Yes, of course there always will be some bugs.
But Obsidian doesn't do "some bugs", they do a lots of bugs in any of their games. Always. And usually these are bugs are scripts which shouldn't be problem to fix but they are for Obsidian.

NWN2 has other problems then just bugs - story, neverending corridors with a lots of enemies (no way to avoid fights) and boring characters. First expansion is a lot better but still inferior to Hordes of the Underdark.

What with they did like in NWN 2, I guess the bugs themselves were part of the game.

U know, to encourage people to apply patches and mods for their own game.

Can't say F:NV had any game breaking bugs. Some quests like monorail had issues but all in all, relatively to the amounts of the quests it was nowhere to bad. Also game recieved quick patches too, so I am extremely glad that in era of mass effect there are still companies like obsidian.

Still better then NWN1... stupid Aribeth, even stupider Fenthick... and stupid NPC for letting him hang...

What;s with everyone and HotU... it might have been way better then the previous 2 stories but it still wasn't anything special...
